Delete your LingoWord account
Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open LingoWord and go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll down to the Account section and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm twice. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
Subscriptions are not cancelled automatically. Deleting your account does not cancel a LingoWord Gold subscription. To stop being charged, cancel it in your App Store subscription settings: on your iPhone open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. You can also tap Manage subscriptions in the delete confirmation in the app.
Can't open the app?
E-mail support@enesgenc.space with the subject "LingoWord account deletion" and the player name or friend code shown on your profile. Accounts are anonymous, so we may ask a question to confirm the account is yours. We delete it within 30 days and confirm by e-mail.
What is deleted
- Your guest account and player name
- Course progress, answers, word mastery, XP, streaks and daily goal
- Language and level settings
- Friend connections and private tournaments you created, plus your tournament entries and answers
What is not deleted
- Anonymous usage events and error reports, which contain no account identifier and are deleted after 12 months.
Data stored only on your phone (cached lessons and settings) is removed when you delete the app.
