Plain language summary: HantaScan AI does not collect personal data. All scan images are processed on your device and are never transmitted to our servers. The only third-party service we use is RevenueCat for subscription management, which operates under its own strict privacy policy.
1. Who We Are
HantaScan AI ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") is a mobile application developed and operated by Enes Genç ("Developer"). The App is available on the Apple App Store.

2. Information We Collect
We are committed to data minimization. Below is a complete overview of every category of data involved in operating the App:

Important: Photos you capture are analyzed entirely on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store your images on any server. When you delete the app, all local data is permanently removed.
3. Camera & Photo Library Access
The App requests access to your device camera and photo library solely to enable the core scanning feature. This access is used exclusively to:
- Capture photos of surfaces for hantavirus risk analysis
- Import existing photos from your photo library for analysis
- Display the captured image alongside your scan results
We do not access your photo library beyond the specific image you select. We do not read metadata, browse your library, or access images other than those you explicitly choose to analyze.
You can revoke camera or photo access at any time via Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera / Photos on your iOS device.
4. Subscriptions & RevenueCat
Premium subscription purchases are processed entirely through the Apple App Store. We do not have access to your payment card information or Apple ID credentials.
We use RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) to manage subscription status across sessions. RevenueCat receives:
- An anonymous device identifier (RevenueCat anonymous ID) — not linked to any personal information
- Subscription entitlement status (active / expired)
- Purchase date and expiration date of your subscription
RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or any personally identifying information. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
All App Store purchases and subscription management are governed by Apple's Terms and Conditions. To manage or cancel your subscription, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iOS device.
5. Data Storage & Security
All scan data, results, and settings are stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage. No personal data is transmitted to external servers.
We implement the following security practices:
- All data remains on your device and is subject to iOS sandbox protections
- No personal data traverses the internet from the App (except anonymous subscription status via RevenueCat over HTTPS)
- We do not maintain any database of user records
- Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all locally stored data
6. Children's Privacy
HantaScan AI is designed for users aged 4 and older and is rated 4+ on the App Store. The App does not collect, use, or disclose personal information from any user, including children under the age of 13.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, please contact us immediately at support@enesgenc.space so we can take appropriate action.
7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Because we do not collect personal data, most privacy regulations' rights requests (access, deletion, portability) are satisfied automatically — there is no personal data to access, delete, or export from our systems.
For locally stored data on your device, you can:
- Access: View all scan history within the App's History tab
- Delete: Clear all scan history via Settings → Clear scan history
- Portability: Export your data via Settings → Export my data
- Opt out of all data collection: Uninstall the App

8. Third-Party Links
The App's Learn section contains links to external resources including the CDC (cdc.gov), WHO (who.int), and Mayo Clinic (mayoclinic.org). These websites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any external site you visit.
HantaScan AI is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with the CDC, WHO, or Mayo Clinic.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users through the App.
Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
