Terms of Use

By downloading or using Keepline ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

License

We grant you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use Keepline for your personal, non‑commercial use, subject to these Terms and the App Store / Google Play terms.

Subscriptions (Keepline Premium)

• The price and billing period are shown in the app before you confirm a purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID (or Google account) upon confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto‑renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store / Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds, where applicable, are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

Your content & copyright

• You own the highlights and notes you create. You are responsible for having the right to capture and store the content you scan.
• Quotes you capture are excerpts of works owned by their respective authors and publishers. Use them in line with applicable copyright law (e.g., personal use and quotation/fair‑use rights).

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to breach or probe security, no automated abuse, and no reverse engineering except where permitted by law.

OCR & AI features

Text recognition (OCR) and AI features are provided "as is" and may contain errors — please verify important text. AI answers are generated from your own highlights and may be inaccurate or incomplete.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, secure, or error‑free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Keepline shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data. Please keep your own backups — you can export your library to Markdown or CSV at any time.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict‑of‑laws provisions.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
