VoiceTranslate ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the VoiceTranslate mobile application ("the App").

1. Data Collection and Storage

Local Storage: VoiceTranslate stores your conversation history and app settings locally on your device using on-device storage. We do not transmit your conversation data to our own servers for storage purposes.

No Personal Accounts: We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal identification (name, email, phone number) to use the App.

Voice Data: When you use the speech recognition feature, your voice is processed by your device's built-in speech recognition system (Apple Speech Recognition on iOS, Google Speech Services on Android). Voice audio is processed according to Apple's or Google's respective privacy policies. We do not record, store, or transmit your voice audio.

2. Translation Service

Text Transmission: When you speak into the App, the recognized text is sent to third-party translation service providers to perform the translation. Only the text content and selected language pair are transmitted. No personal identifiers, device information, or voice recordings are sent.

No Logging: We do not log or permanently store the text you send for translation. Translations are processed in real time and not retained.

3. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Payment Processing: VoiceTranslate uses a third-party service to manage in-app subscriptions. This service may collect anonymized purchase and subscription data to manage your subscription status.

Subscription Data: When you purchase a subscription, Apple processes the payment and shares subscription status with us. We receive only your subscription status (active/inactive), plan type, and expiry date — no payment card information is ever accessible to us.

Free Tier Usage: Free users' daily translation count is stored locally on device only. This data is never transmitted to any server.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following categories of third-party services to provide its core features:

No Advertising: VoiceTranslate does not display advertisements and does not use any advertising SDKs.

No Analytics: We do not use third-party analytics services to track your usage behavior.

No Data Selling: We do not sell or share your personal data with any third party for advertising or marketing purposes.

VoiceTranslate requests the following permissions:

All permissions are used solely for the features described above. You can revoke any permission at any time in your device's Settings. The App will inform you if a required permission is missing for a specific feature.

6. Data Security

Your conversation history and settings are stored locally on your device. The security of this data depends on the security of your device. We recommend using device-level security features like passcodes, Face ID, or fingerprint authentication to protect your information.

Communication between the App and third-party services uses HTTPS encryption to protect your data during transmission.

VoiceTranslate is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not require any personal information to function.

Text sent for translation may be processed on servers located outside your country. Only the text content and language pair are transmitted — no personal data is included.
