Prayer Journey – Daily Log requests access to your device's location to provide accurate prayer times based on your geographical location. This information is used solely for:

• Calculating accurate prayer times for your location (Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha)
• Displaying your city name and location information
• Providing Qibla (prayer direction) compass functionality

We do not store, share, or transmit your location data to any third-party servers. Location data is processed locally on your device and only used for the features mentioned above.

1.2 Local Storage Data

The app uses local storage (AsyncStorage) on your device to store:

• Prayer completion tracking data (daily and monthly records)
• Prayer statistics (streak count, completion percentages)
• Missed prayers (Qaza) tracking information
• Language preferences (Turkish, English, Arabic, Russian, Indonesian, Malay)
• App settings and preferences
• Daily Quran verse cache
• Notification preferences and scheduling data
• Zikirmatik (Tasbih) counter records
• Quran reading progress

All this data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to external servers. Your data remains private and under your control.

1.3 Notification Permissions

The app requests notification permissions to:

• Send prayer time reminders (1 hour before each prayer)
• Play adhan (call to prayer) at the exact prayer time
• Notify you about upcoming prayer times

You can enable or disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

1.4 Premium Subscription Information

If you choose to purchase a Premium subscription for an ad-free experience, payment processing is handled by Apple (for iOS) or Google (for Android) through their respective app stores. We do not collect or store your payment information. Subscription management is handled entirely by the app stores.

1.5 No Personal Account Information

Prayer Journey – Daily Log does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. The app operates primarily offline with local data storage.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:

• Prayer Times: To calculate and display accurate prayer times based on your location using the Aladhan API
• Qibla Direction: To provide the correct Qibla (Kaaba) direction using your device's compass and location
• Prayer Tracking: To help you track your daily prayer completion and maintain prayer statistics locally on your device
• Missed Prayer Tracking: To track and manage Qaza (missed) prayers
• Notifications: To send prayer time reminders and adhan notifications based on your preferences
• Daily Quran Verse: To display a random daily verse from the Quran in your preferred language
• Multi-language Support: To display the app interface and Quran content in your selected language
• App Functionality: To maintain your preferences and app settings

3. Third-Party Services

3.1 Prayer Times API

Namaz Vakti uses the Aladhan API (aladhan.com) to fetch prayer times. When you use the app, your location coordinates (latitude and longitude) are sent to this service to retrieve accurate prayer times. The API provider may have its own privacy policy regarding how they handle location data.

3.2 Google AdMob

The free version of the app displays interstitial advertisements through Google AdMob when you access certain features. Ads may appear when you:

• Press the Tasbih (Zikirmatik/Counter) button
• Press the Qibla Compass button
• Access the Quran menu

AdMob may collect and use certain information for ad personalization and delivery, including:

• Device information (device type, operating system)
• Ad interaction data
• Approximate location (for relevant ads)

AdMob's data collection and use are governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt-out of personalized ads through your device's ad settings. Premium subscribers enjoy an ad-free experience without any AdMob integration.

3.3 App Store Services

Premium subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). These platforms handle all payment processing and subscription management. Please refer to Apple's and Google's privacy policies for information about how they handle your data.

3.4 No Analytics or Tracking

Prayer Journey – Daily Log does not use any analytics services or tracking technologies beyond what is required by AdMob for ad delivery. We do not collect usage statistics, track your behavior within the app, or send any user data to our servers for analytics purposes.

4. Quran Content and Translations

The app includes:

• Quran text in Arabic (original text)
• Quran translations in multiple languages (Turkish, English, Arabic, Russian, Indonesian, Malay)
• Daily random verses with translations
• Chapter (Surah) reading functionality

All Quran content is stored locally within the app and accessed offline. No Quran reading activity or preferences are transmitted to external servers.

5. Data Security

We take data security seriously:

• All personal data is stored locally on your device
• No user data is transmitted to our servers (we don't operate any servers for user data)
• Location data is only used when the app is actively running
• You can revoke location and notification permissions at any time through your device settings
• Prayer tracking data, statistics, and Qaza records remain private on your device
• Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Location Permission: You can grant or revoke location permissions at any time through your device's settings
• Notification Permission: You can enable or disable prayer notifications through your device's settings
• Local Data: You can clear all app data by uninstalling the app or clearing app data through your device settings
• Ad Preferences: You can opt-out of personalized ads through your device's ad settings, or upgrade to Premium for an ad-free experience
• Language Selection: You can change the app language at any time within the app settings
• No Account Required: Since we don't collect personal information or require accounts, there's no account data to manage or delete

7. Premium Subscription

Premium subscriptions provide an ad-free experience and are managed through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). Subscription information, including purchase history and renewal status, is managed by these platforms. You can manage your subscription through your device's app store settings. Premium features include:

• Ad-free experience (no AdMob ads shown when accessing Tasbih, Qibla, or Quran features)
• Prayer Tracking with calendar visualization
• Prayer Statistics (streak counter, completion percentages)
• Qaza (Missed Prayers) Tracking
• All core features remain available in both free and premium versions

8. Children's Privacy

Prayer Journey – Daily Log is suitable for users of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or any users. Since we don't collect personal information beyond what is necessary for app functionality (location for prayer times), this is not a concern. Parents can supervise their children's use of the app without privacy concerns.

9. International Users

Prayer Journey – Daily Log is available worldwide and supports multiple languages (Turkish, English, Arabic, Russian, Indonesian, Malay). Since all data processing occurs locally on your device and we don't operate servers for user data, there are no international data transfer concerns.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

11. Data Retention

All data is stored locally on your device and retained until you:

• Clear the app's data through device settings
• Uninstall the app
• Manually reset prayer tracking data within the app

We do not retain any user data on external servers.
