By downloading, installing, or using the DocTranslate application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
DocTranslate is a document and text translation application that allows users to translate PDF documents and text content between 23+ languages. The App uses cloud-based translation services to process your documents and return translated versions.
The App offers both free and premium tiers:
Billing: Premium subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
Managing Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
No Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
Free Trial: If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
The free version of the App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. These ads may include banner, interstitial, and rewarded video advertisements. By using the free version, you agree to the display of these advertisements.
Premium subscribers will not see any advertisements within the App.
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: DocTranslate uses automated machine translation technology. Translations are provided "as-is" and may not be 100% accurate, especially for specialized, legal, medical, or technical content.
The App is not a substitute for professional human translation services. You should not rely solely on automated translations for critical documents, legal agreements, medical instructions, or any content where accuracy is essential.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any translation provided by the App.
Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use this App.
Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you submit for translation. You must ensure that you have the right to translate and use any documents you upload.
Acceptable Use: You agree not to use the App to translate any content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
The App and all its content, features, and functionality (excluding user-submitted content) are owned by DocTranslate and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain all rights to the documents and text you submit for translation. We claim no ownership over your content or the resulting translations.
You may not:
NO WARRANTIES: The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of translation accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
LIMITATION: In no event shall DocTranslate, its developers, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from inaccurate translations, including but not limited to business losses, legal consequences, or misunderstandings caused by translation errors.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DocTranslate and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App, the content you translate, or your violation of these Terms of Use.
Translation services require an active internet connection. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or server issues. Premium subscribers are not entitled to refunds for temporary service interruptions.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms of Use. Upon termination, your subscription will not be automatically refunded.
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
