DocTranslate ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.
DocTranslate is a document and text translation application. It allows you to translate PDF documents and text between 23+ languages using cloud-based translation services. The App offers both a free (ad-supported) tier and a premium (ad-free) subscription tier.
Documents and Text: When you use the translation feature, your PDF documents and text are sent to our secure translation servers for processing. The translated content is returned to your device. We do not permanently store your documents or translated text on our servers after processing is complete.
No Personal Accounts: We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal identification (name, email, phone number) to use the application.
App Settings: Your app preferences (such as language selection and premium status) are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to any server.
Translation Processing: Documents and text you submit are processed solely for the purpose of providing translation services. They are not used for any other purpose.
No Data Selling: We do not sell, rent, or share your documents, text, or any personal data with third parties for marketing or research purposes.
No Profiling: We do not build user profiles or track your translation history on our servers.
Premium subscriptions are processed and managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We use RevenueCat as our subscription management platform to verify your subscription status.
What RevenueCat processes: An anonymous user identifier, subscription status (active/expired), purchase dates, and product identifiers. No personal information such as name, email, or payment details is shared with us.
What we store locally: Your premium status and subscription expiration date are stored on your device to provide offline access to premium features.

The free version of the App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve relevant advertisements, including:
Premium subscribers are not shown any advertisements, and no advertising data is collected for premium users.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data during transmission to and from our translation servers. All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS.
Documents are processed in memory and are not written to permanent storage on our servers. Once translation is complete, the data is discarded.
Server-Side: We do not retain your documents or translated text after the translation process is completed.
Device-Side: Translated PDF files, app settings, and subscription status are saved locally on your device. You can delete them at any time through the app or by uninstalling the application.
Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete. All user data is stored locally on your device and can be removed by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.
To manage advertising preferences, you can adjust your device's ad tracking settings or upgrade to Premium for an ad-free experience.
Our application is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
